OUR STORY
From Hay and Beef to large Garden, Pig and Chicken farming.
While working our day jobs in the late 1990's we bought our first hay equipment to begin living a lifelong dream. Starting with farming our own 10 acre hay field, nights and weekends, we grew to farming over 300 acres, both leased and custom hire. As our love for the farming life grew, we invested in a pair of black angus cows. In time, we had a beautiful herd of 23 cow calf pairs raised for meat or sold, and even a few steers showed and placed in their market classes at our county fairs.

Through the years we have raised, loved, and said good bye to many pets, livestock, and other animals on this cherished piece of property in Tehama County.

2020 has presented the opportunity for a new venture as we purchased our first pair of Heritage Tamworth piglets.
​
In 2021 we added to the herd another breeding gilt and 15 Barred Holland chickens. A three day road trip to pick-up the new stock was worth the trip.
​
Our pigs and chickens are going to be raised on grass, clover and alfalfa pasture with plenty of room to feel free!
We also enjoy sharing with them the fruits of our labors from the vegetable garden (there is always more than we can eat alone!). With good food, care, and room to grow, we believe that the flavor cannot be matched.
